Manual Lymphatic Drainage is the body’s sewage system that maintains fluid levels in our body tissues by removing excess fluids that leak out of our blood vessels. The excess fluids that are not absorbed in the bloodstream can accumulate and cause swelling and inflammation. By performing a MLD treatment, the excess fluid is pushed towards the regional lymph nodes by using a gentle rheumatic movement.
